Hong Kong Chee Cheung Fun @ Kajang

Asa, a dear friend of mine from Kajang recommended this place for its famous Hong Kong Chee Cheung Fun (HKCCF) and Claypot Lou Shee Fun. Since I am not familiar with Kajang, she even provided me with a DIY map which ease my headache to locate the place. A big thanks to her for being so helpful!!

This is the entrance of the shop

The boss and his son (quite YC @ Yeng Chai) busy preparing the HKCCF

Menu on the wall

A plate of HKCCF with prawns, fried onions and of course some sambal belacan at the side. IMPO, this HKCCF is very homely taste with a slightly thicker texture than those usual HKCCF we found in dim sum restaurant. Anyway, it still tastes good despite the thicker texture.

Claypot Lou Shee Fun with some minced pork and pork ball. It is still boiling with the "bee bop bee bop" gravy when it was served.

The bill amounting to RM19.20 for 3 plates of HKCCF, 1 Claypot Lou Shee Fun and drinks.

Thereafter, my HB suggested that we try the Yeung Liu Fun (one of the famous food in Ipoh) @ Yeong Tau Foo with noodles at the opposite stall since we have come all the way to Kajang, my mum agreed with him and we settled at the stall and ordered the following:-

Plain noodles in clear soup, bean curd skin stuffed with fish paste in clear soup and pig skin stuffed with fish paste in curry laksa soup.

I like this a lot, Yeung G Pei @ Pig Skin Stuffed with Fish Paste.

How to get there?
It's located in a row of mini shops behind the Kajang wet market and opposite a food court.
