Langat Fishing Seafood & Beer Garden

When one of my ji mui, June recommended a Thai restaurant in Hulu Langat that serves fishes and vegetables freshly from the pond and farm beside the restaurant, I immediately start searching for the location map but in the course of searching, I stumbled upon another place of interest in Hulu Langat that serves "San Sui Yue" @ Mountain Water Fish. As I was unable to decide between the 2 options, I leave the important task to my mum and dear HB. As predicted, my mum and HB unanimously agreed to try the San Sui Yue and ...

Mum: Wah ... yau san sui yue, hou woh (Wah ... got mountain water fish, good woh)

HB: Hou hou sik ga? (very tasty ah?)

Me: Of course hou sik la (tasty), san sui yue have to swim more aggresive to counter the effect of high pressure mountain water flow, so its meat sure more "dan seng" ... lol

Mum: Hai ah ... hai ah ... ngo sai sai gor sik gor dit san sui yue jan hai hou yau dan seng, yuk jat mm tung ga (yes ah ... yes ah ... when I was young, those mountain water fish that I ate, its meat texture is different)

During the conversation, I have already clicking here and there to google for the map and not long thereafter, we are already on our journey to the San Sui Yue place.

Crispy Seafood Taufu. Crispy outside and tender inside. Heart it a lot.

Claypot San Sui Bak Sou Gung @ Mountain Water Cat Fish. Texture of the meat is so different from the common fresh water fishes due to the extra physical activities to counter the effect of high pressure mountain water flow. In fact, the meat is kind of chewable @ Dan Seng ... very special ...

Claypot Braised Terrapin @ Shui Yue. The meat is so tender and juicy while some part of the skin is so high in collagen .. ohh ... what a gift for my skin!!
